Beach Bum Mobile Instagram Preset

Beach Bum is a Preset for photos that has been created in the mobile app version of Adobe Lightroom. Photo edits have been made and saved to this file that you can then paste to your own photos.

How to use the Preset

Download

Download the .dng file that you have purchased to your phone. You must also download Adobe’s Lightroom mobile app.

Open and save

Open the app and click “Photos” in the bottom lefthand corner, then to the right you’ll see the “Add” and “Camera” buttons. Select “Add” and find the .dng file you saved to your phone (on iPhones the file will just be a black square). Once you’ve opened the photo, click “Presets” in the bottom bar. Then click the symbol with the three small dots in the very right-hand corner and select “Create Preset” and don’t untick anything. Name this Preset and save it. That’s the Preset saved.

Apply to your images

The final step is to add it to your own photos. To do this, open up a photo image as you did with the .dng initially. Once you’ve opened the image, click “Presets” again but now your Preset will show up in the list under “User Presets”. Select your Preset then click the tick down the bottom right. This will apply the Preset to the photo. Rinse and repeat for as many photos as you like!
